Accessibility Statement

Last updated: August 20, 2026

Long Beach Work Club is committed to making our website and member portal usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement describes where we stand, what we're doing, and how to reach us if you run into a barrier.

1. Our Commitment

We want every prospective and current member to be able to browse our spaces, request a tour, book a meeting room, and manage their membership independently — regardless of ability or the assistive technology they use. We treat accessibility as an ongoing obligation, not a one-time project.

2. Conformance Standard

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, Level AA. WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard most commonly referenced for public-facing websites in the United States.

We do not currently claim full conformance. We completed a comprehensive audit of this site in August 2026 and are actively remediating the issues it identified. We will update this statement as that work progresses.

3. What We Are Doing

Our current and ongoing accessibility work includes:

  • A full source-code audit of every page against WCAG 2.1 Level AA
  • Remediating issues in our own code rather than relying on automated overlay tools, which do not fix underlying accessibility defects
  • Automated accessibility testing integrated into our development process to prevent regressions
  • Manual keyboard-only and screen-reader testing of our core flows: requesting a tour, viewing spaces and pricing, booking a meeting room, and signing a membership agreement
  • Periodic re-review as the site changes

4. Known Limitations

We want to be straightforward about where gaps remain:

  • Remediation of issues identified in our August 2026 audit is in progress. Some pages may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
  • Our location page embeds a Google Maps view. We do not control that third-party content. Our full street address is available as plain text on the same page, and we are glad to provide directions by phone or email.
  • Our floor plans are provided as an embedded PDF document. If you need floor plan information in another format, please contact us and we will provide it directly.
  • Portions of our member portal rely on third-party authentication and payment services whose interfaces we do not control.

5. Report a Barrier

If you encounter any part of this website you cannot use, we want to hear about it. Your report helps us fix real problems, and we take them seriously.

6. Alternative Access

If any part of this website is not usable for you, you do not need to wait for a fix to do business with us. We will schedule tours, provide pricing and availability, answer questions about our spaces, and handle membership paperwork by phone, by email, or in person at our Downtown Long Beach location. Call us at (562) 800-4002 and we will help you directly.

7. Requesting an Accommodation

If you need a reasonable accommodation to tour, join, or use Long Beach Work Club — on this website or at our physical location — please contact us using any of the methods above. We will work with you to find a solution.

8. Feedback

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this site generally, not only reports of specific problems. If something could work better for you, tell us.
